The California JPIA is governed by a Board of Directors, consisting of one elected official appointed by each Member Agency. The Board elects a President, Vice President and seven Members of the Executive Committee, which meets monthly to supervise and conduct Authority affairs. The Executive Committee has an advisory Managers Committee that meets monthly and a Finance Officers Committee which meets quarterly. The day-to-day business of California JPIA is handled by a full-time staff headed by a Chief Executive Officer, employed by the Executive Committee.
