California JPIA is the largest municipal self-insurance pool in the state and has been serving its members since 1978. Members take an active role in determining the programs and services that are provided to the pool.
A progressive risk management agency concerned with preventing and alleviating risk wherever possible, the California JPIA strives to provide innovative service to its members.
The California JPIA has a risk-sharing pool for general liability and workers' compensation and obtains group-purchased insurance for all-risk property, auto, earthquake, environmental, and fidelity exposures.
