REPORTING CLAIMS

Unfortunately not all claims can be prevented. When they do occur, CALIFORNIA JPIA is prepared. CALIFORNIA JPIA handles claims from inception to closing. CALIFORNIA JPIA pays the claims adjustors, hires attorneys, and pays claims as appropriate. CALIFORNIA JPIA closely monitors the activities of the firms contracted to carry-out these responsibilities and conducts regular audits of their effectiveness. Members of the CALIFORNIA JPIA need not worry about the details of handling claims. This allows staff resources currently dedicated to claims management responsibilities to instead focus on risk management and preventing the occurrence of claims in the first place.
