2008 Risk Management Awards

The winners of the 2008 Risk Management Awards for the General Liability and Workers’ Compensation Programs were recognized at the Annual Board of Directors meeting.  The Authority was pleased to present 14 different agencies a total of 16 awards.  Members demonstrating superior risk management were distinguished with Most Improved and Best Overall Performance Awards in each program.

In order to determine the winners, members were placed into size categories based on a combination of population and payroll.  Keeping with the groupings of last year, the General Liability Program was split into four member groups – three for Cities and Towns and one for non-municipal members.  There were three member groups for the Workers’ Compensation Program.
