| Confined Space Entry | Length: 4 Hours | ||||||||

This comprehensive workshop will review the organization's written Confined Space Entry Program to include permit and non-permit confined space classification, attendant duties, entrant duties, and entry supervisor duties, hazards of entering a confined space, isolation and ventilation methods, confined space testing, work practices, preventing unauthorized entry, personal protective equipment, and rescue and emergency procedures. This training meets the requirements of Cal-OSHA General Industry Safety Orders §5157(g)(1) and §5158(c)(2).
Who should attend: Fire Officers, Public Works - Facilities Maintenance, Public Works - Street Maintenance, Public Works - Water/Sanitation Code/regulation: Title 8 CCR, GISO Section 5157(g)(1) and 5158(c)(2) Frequency of training: Recommended every 3 years |
