Lockout/Tagout is a Cal-OSHA safety standard used to control hazardous energy. This workshop reviews types of energy sources, hazards of failure to isolate, isolation procedures, use and care of isolation equipment, and shutdown/start-up procedures. Electrical hazards, systems, proper personal protective equipment (PPE), and electrical safety in the workplace will also be reviewed. This training meets the requirements of Cal-OSHA General Industry Safety Orders §3314(a)(j) and 3203 (a)(7).
Who Should Attend
Supervisors, inspectors, site managers, and workers authorized to isolate equipment.
