| Workshop Description |
This workshop provides participants with information to identify bloodborne pathogens and aerosol transmissible diseases, risks of exposure, and methods of protection and meets the requirements of Cal-OSHA General Industry Safety Orders §5193(5) (c). The second part provides In session two participants will gain an understanding of basic types of fire extinguishers and their proper use, fire prevention, and response (based on the agency's fire prevention plan and emergency response plan). Hands-on demonstration may be included. Session two meets the requirements of Cal-OSHA General Industry Safety Orders §6151(g)(1). Please note: This workshop is scheduled along with the Hearing Conservation/Heat Stress workshop.
