California JPIA

The Authority’s media library is driven by our mission to provide innovative risk management solutions for our public agency partners. These resources are made available to members of the California JPIA to foster growth in the individual or organization.

Members of the California JPIA may borrow DVDs or video cassette tapes, at no cost, from the Authority’s Media Library. Employee development DVDs and videos provide a method for the member to improve employee orientation, growth, and to encourage management and employees to communicate with one another in a positive manner. The safety DVDs and videos are an effective tool for training employees in hazard identification, engineering control and job safety so that they may anticipate and manage hazards, not just count and investigate accidents after the fact.

Members may borrow a maximum of two DVDs or video cassette tapes from the Authority’s video library at any given time. To request them, check the appropriate box adjacent to the desired title and complete the information form. Tapes and DVDs may be borrowed for a 21 calendar day period and will be mailed to you within five business days. If a requested resource is not immediately available, you will be notified by email. Note: Our current VHS titles are now available in DVD format. DVDs will automatically be mailed unless VHS is requested in the comments section during checkout. In addition, unless requested, all Media will be sent via USPS and should arrive within 5 days. Should you need media sooner, please notify the California JPIA in comments section.
