Team Building and Team Communication

CLASSROOM TRAINING
It seems like we aren’t working in a 24-7 world anymore, but a 72-7 world. Stress is high, public agency employees are often being asked to do more with less, and the pace of life and work makes it easy for people to get on each other’s nerves. Getting along at work means we have to co-exist. This training teaches tools for employees, supervisors, departments and work teams to cooperate, communicate, and know when and how to give each other feedback, support and praise. We all play a part in good service to each other, to our departments, and to our taxpayers. In tough economic times, it can be hard to feel motivated to do more with less and at a faster pace than ever before. This session offers employees and supervisors hope, motivation, new ideas and tools for working more effectively in our current environment. If you are a person with a disability and need an accommodation to participate, please contact the California JPIA training division by email, training@cjpia.org, within two business days of the training date, noting that the Authority is closed on Fridays.
